Terms of Business

These Terms of Business are applicable from 1st October 2021 and sets out the general terms under which we will provide business services to you and the respective duties and responsibilities of both ourselves and you in relation to such services. Please ensure that you read these terms thoroughly, and if you have any queries, please let us know. Any changes to these terms will be notified to you and this webpage updated to reflect changes.

1. Services

Complete Divorce Services Limited (Company Registration Number 704846) T/A EasyDivorce provides access to software that enables you, the customer, in return for an agreed fee, to generate customised divorce paperwork based on information inputted by the customer onto our secure application form and also to receive ongoing instructions on how to follow court rules to finalise your divorce. Customers pay a fee in return for access to EasyDivorce's cloud-based divorce software.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they meet the minimum legal requirements to apply for a divorce/dissolution as set out in the Family Law Divorce Act.

Once a customer has registered with EasyDivorce and completed our secure online application and made a payment, EasyDivorce / the EasyDivorce Divorce System will;

EasyDivorce cannot be responsible for any information provided by the customer that is inaccurate or insufficient. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they have provided all information requested, have not withheld any material information and that all information provided is accurate.

EasyDivorce are not solicitors and do not offer legal advice. EasyDivorce does not provide legal representation.

If you require legal advice, this service is not suitable for you.

By not retaining a solicitor to assist with your divorce, you will be a lay litigant in your divorce proceedings. This means you are representing yourself in the proceedings.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that EasyDivorce are not solicitors, do not offer legal advice and that you will represent yourself in court as a lay litigant.

2. Disclosure of Information

You must ensure that all information provided by you on the EasyDivorce system is complete and accurate. If you are in doubt about whether the information is relevant or not, please contact us.

Failure to disclose any material information could result in your court documentation being incorrect, and as a consequence, your divorce may not be granted.

EasyDivorce cannot be held responsible where a divorce application has not been granted due to material information relevant to their divorce application being withheld by the customer.

3. Data Protection

Complete Divorce Services Limited T/A EasyDivorce complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

The data you provide to us will be held on our private server located in the EU. Our Webhosting administrator is LetsHost, who are located in Dublin, Ireland.

Your data is never passed to any third party by EasyDivorce unless specifically requested by you to do so or if the subject of a criminal investigation and requested by An Garda Siochana.

You have the right at any time to request a copy of any 'personal data within the meaning of the GDPR that EasyDivorce holds about you and to have any inaccuracies in that information corrected.

4. Site Content

The EasyDivorce.ie Website and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Complete Divorce Services Limited and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary laws.

5. Client Monies and Receipts

All customer payments should be made online if possible. We will issue a receipt for each payment received.

Please make cheques payable to Complete Divorce Services Limited if you wish to pay by cheque or postal order.

6. Limit Liability

Complaints

We hope that you are happy with our service. However, if you have a complaint, we ask that you submit your complaint via email to info@easydivorce.ie.

We aim to respond to any complaints received not later than 20 business days from receipt of your complaint.
